GCSE Results 2026: Celebrating Our First Ever GCSE Results with Our Fabulous Year 11s
We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Year 11s, who have received their GCSE results following a tremendous amount of hard work, determination and perseverance.
This year, our students achieved 66 qualifications across the cohort, with many securing strong grades and achieving results that reflect the progress they have made during their time at school.
There were some particularly impressive individual achievements. Young people achieved Grade 8s and 9s in English Language, Maths, Biology, Physics, Art, Computer Science, Global Citizenship and History. In fact, there were impressive grades across all our subjects, and most notably, several young people smashed their target grades, achieving outstanding results for them personally.
Headline data:
67% attained 5 GCSEs including English and maths at grade 4 or higher.
67% of young people attained a top band grade (7-9) in at least one GCSE subject.
44% of young people attained a top band grade (7-9) in at least four subjects.
55.6% of young people achieved at least one grade higher than standardised target in at least one subject.
Behind every result is an individual story of effort, resilience and personal growth. We are incredibly proud of the way our young people have approached their studies and supported one another throughout their GCSE journey.
We would also like to thank our dedicated staff for the encouragement, care and expertise they have provided, as well as the families and carers who have supported our young people every step of the way.
Most importantly, we want our year 11 leavers to know that their results are just one part of a much bigger journey. We hope they take great pride in what they have achieved and we look forward to seeing them take their next steps with confidence.
